Fox Glen Pool Opens
Weekends in May
It is once again that time of year splashing, wading, and paddling - it must mean a great day in the water. Playing at the pool can be a real treat on a hot day. Swimming is a lot of fun, however, as water holds endless fascination for small children, we must take every precaution to prevent our young children from entering the pool without proper supervision. Small children lack the cognitive ability to discern danger. It is the adult�s responsibility to protect these curious and impulsive explorers from entering the pool area unsupervised. Supervision, combined with barriers (including gate locks and perimeter yard fencing) can help keep our children safe.

Mailboxes
As most of the homes in the Fox Glen neighborhood are at least 7 years old, it is
time to take a look at one aspect of our homes that is easy to overlook, but
was once a focal point to the neighborhood, our mailboxes. Many of the
mailboxes in Fox Glen are in need of some touching up. Some are leaning
over, some need some paint, and others need to be put back together.
The mailboxes in our neighborhood are also covered in the covenants.
The original and only style approved by the Architectural Review Committee
is a standard black mailbox with the street address sign secured
to the top and a newspaper tube below. There are several mailboxes in the
neighborhood missing their address signs. These should be replaced in
order to remain in compliance with the neighborhood standards.
It is a classy touch to have all the mailboxes in a neighborhood look the
same. Let's see if we can't clean and straighten them up. One can
of gloss black paint per house should do the trick ($2.97).
The Fox Glen SPEED LIMIT is 25 MPH!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - SLOW DOWN!
Parents, remind your teenagers that 25 MPH is not
a suggested speed... it is the law.
Please slow down before someone's child is hurt or worse!
